On Thursday 27th June from 4.30 pm to 8 p.m. the Danesbury Fernery will be Open as part of the Welwyn Festival Open Gardens Programme.
The Friends of Danesbury Fernery Volunteers will be there in force, identified by their new green caps, so please stop them and ask as many questions as you like.
The £2 Entrance fee is for charity.
Come and appreciate for yourselves how much work the volunteers put in throughout the year to make the Fernery such a beautiful and popular place for quiet reflection and relaxation. Enjoy the refreshments that will be available and the Welwyn Harmony Choir (from 6 pm), and take a look at the plants on sale at bargain prices. We will have plenty of carrier bags handy so that you can get them home safely.
